My Story
I live in Big Lake MN, am a Mom of 2, bartend part time, have a full time job at a local insulation company, and have been a Scentsy consultant since January 2021. Can you believe I had never heard of Scentsy until about a month before I joined?! I fell in love after I got my very first order from a friends party; Stargaze Diffuser & Oils, & a couple Blueberry Cheesecake & Black Raspberry Vanilla bars of wax. 2 scents that I still LOVE to this day!
It wasn't long after that first order arrived that I wanted to learn more about what a Scentsy Consultant was, something inside was calling me to do this and I soon decided to host my own Scentsy Party as a sort of trial run before hitting the join button. My party went incredibly well and I had a boost of confidence that I could really do this, I could actually be a Scentsy consultant. In the beginning I hit the ground running, took in as much information as possible, lots of late nights and early mornings, and then I got burnt out. Ran into some hiccups, made mistakes, and eventually I took a step back from my business. Something I use to dwell on, but I can't change it, it's just a part of my story.
These days I'm working on my comeback story. There's always time to start over and that's exactly what I am doing. Still learning, growing, making mistakes, persevering, and embracing the journey. I could tell you this has been a cake walk, but it hasn't and its not supposed to be easy. It takes hard work and dedication to do this job, it's not for the faint of heart.
